Rivalekt

every 3 ml contains:

• Diclofenac sodium BP 75 mg;
• Benzyl alcohol BP 4% v/v; (as a preservative)
• Water for injections BP q.s.

For short-term treatment of pain of various origins of moderate intensity:

• diseases of the musculoskeletal system (rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic, juvenile chronic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis; gouty arthritis, rheumatic soft tissue diseases, osteoarthritis of peripheral joints and spine, including with radicular syndrome);
• lumbago, sciatica, neuralgia;
• algodismenorrhea, inflammatory processes of the pelvic organs, incl. adnexitis;
• post-traumatic pain syndrome accompanied by inflammation;
• postoperative pain.

Injections are prescribed, as a rule, at a dose of 75 mg (one 3 ml ampoule) per day.

The Rivalekt solution is injected deep into the muscle. In severe cases (for example, colic of various origins), as an exception, the use of two ampoules per day is allowed. In such cases, it must be remembered that the interval between injections should be several hours and the next injection must be carried out in the other buttock.
